How to arrive at the hotel from the train station:
Walk: approx. 15 min
Please walk to “Piazza Dell' Unita' d'Italia” square by taking the underpass that you can find inside the station next to the pharmacy.
Follow Via Panzani, Via Cerretani until you arrive at Piazza S. Giovanni (the cathedral). Take a right and go straight on Via Roma/ Calimala until you come to Via Porta Rossa and the Porcellino market.
Take a left there and go straight, after the third street crossing you will find us at number 4 on the left side of the street, right next to the Pinocchio shop.
By bus
The Santa Maria Novella train station is approx. one km from Hotel Renaissance.
To arrive at the Hotel please walk to “Piazza Unita' d'Italia” square by taking the underpass that you can find inside the station next to the pharmacy. On the opposite side of the street take bus “C2”.
Continue until you arrive to the “Canto della Quarconia” stop.
Walk in the same direction as the bus goes until “Via dei Magazzini” street on the right, go straight and turn left at the end of the street. Our Hotel is in “Via della Condotta” at number 4, right next to the Pinocchio shop.
You can buy tickets at the newspaper stand inside the station.
From the airport of Florence
If you arrive at the Peretola Airport you can take the tram that takes you to the Central Station Santa Maria Novella. The trip takes about twenty minutes.

By own car
If your means of transport is a private car, you can reach Hotel Renaissance by yourself and park in one of the public parking lots at our recommendation.
Hotel Renaissance is located inside the traffic free zone of the historical city center.
The hotel has access to a parking lot a 2-minute walk away. It does not belong to the hotel, but it is a private parking company called Garage Bargello. It costs 28 € per day, or more, depending on the car size. You can access the garage on Via Ghibellina 170/r (red number) and mention your reservation with our hotel. This is the simplest choice., the garage is open from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Their website is here.
Another choice is to arrive by car to Hotel Renaissance , park in Piazza San Firenze (please stop here and do not enter Via Della Condotta) which is 20 meters from the hotel. Call us when you are in Piazza San Firenze or come directly with your luggage to the hotel . We will call the garage and a driver will take your car to the garage
The garage will communicate the license plate number areto the town offices in order to avoid unpleasant fines
To arrive in Piazza San Firenze you have to reach Lungarno della Zecca Vecchia and turn into Corso dei Tintori. At the traffic light turn right in via dei Benci and when you arrive in Piazza Santa Croce (square) turn left into via dell' Anguillara. Go straight on until Piazza San Firenze. The hotel is in via della Condotta n.4, the street in front of you.
